Review on Achchamundu Achchamundu

Before booking the ticket, I came to know the film belongs to ‘thriller’ genera from my close buddies and media. It created some sensational mood to watch it as early as I can. Luckily, I got the ticket from my friend who is working in Polaris. The director Arun vaidhaiyanathan was also an X-polarian. My friend got the ticket from the lucky draw conducted at their campus.

The movie deals about sexual abuse of children. We need to appreciate the director for selecting such a sensitive subject and projecting with out any vulnerability in the screen. The problem is identified nowadays very commonly in our locality. The script also shows or projects the same but it failed to give a warm solution. It got a climax but not a solution. I am sure this would have created an astonishing awareness among the audience watching the show.

As part of me, the movie was very gloomy and goes at same pace. Holds good one or two scenes which drag the audience to the edge of the seat. Prasanna and Sneha have added one more feather in their cap. The chemistry was so good and they sound really to be an American settle Indian couple with a lovely angle. Apart from their acting, I couldn’t see much impressive items in the movie.

Director had used “Digital one camera” for the first time in Tamil film industry. The quality is good. Recession has not allowed even our film industry. Digital camera can reduce the cost to some extent. Don’t think, I am too techie, got the information from one of the interview with the director conducted by our local media.
Worth watching once!!!
